JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Summary:
Under the general direction of the Departmental Manager/Building Principal, the Clerk will perform clerical duties relevant to district operations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(Essential Job Functions) 1. Regular daily attendance to perform assigned duties 2. Conduct research 3. Create presentations 4. Prepare written/digital statistical reports, studies and analysis 5. Manage projects 6. Maintain student attendance records (school clerk) 7. Check, verify and maintain health records (school clerk) 8. Plan and schedule meetings and appointments 9. Maintain confidential documents 1 0. Answer telephone 1 1. Arrange conference calls 12. File, scan, and copy documents 13. Prepare routine correspondence for administrative superior 14. Research confidential information 15. Attend workshops, conferences, and departmental meetings 16. Make necessary contacts 17. Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge of:
1. District policies and procedures 2. Statistical data collection 3. Modern office equipment, troubleshooting, practices and procedures Ability to: 1. Communicate clearly and effectively 2. Maintain confidentiality as appropriate 3. Analyze situations accurately, and adopt an effective course of action 4. Meet district standards of professional conduct as outlined in Board Policy 5. Work under pressure 6. Operate a computer, enter data, maintain records and generate reports

WORKING CONDITIONS
Office environment; walking, standing, squatting, hearing and speaking to exchange information and make presentations; seeing to monitor various activities; read documents, view computer monitor, kneeling, bending at the waist, sitting for extended periods of time; reaching overhead, above shoulders, and horizontally, or bending at the waist to retrieve and store files; lifting semi heavy objects
TRAINING. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Any combination equivalent to: a high school diploma, an associate's degree preferred, two years of clerical experience in increasingly responsible office environment.
