OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The Department Chairperson serves as the primary instructional leader in the department and fulfills leadership duties and responsibilities The Department Chairperson provides leadership in the areas of instructional improvement, teacher evaluation, curriculum development, and other related instructional areas. The Department Chairperson provides educational guidance, support, and leadership to the staff across 6th grade to 12th grade.
SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS
Master's Degree, five or more years related experience and/or training preferred. Valid IL Professional Educators License with Senior High School Social Studies and General Administrative K-12 endorsement required. Demonstrated strong background in instructional leadership and instructional coaching is preferred.
