REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

Master's Degree in Education Administration Valid Illinois Professional Educator's License with a General Administrative or Principalship endorsement Standard Illinois Teaching Certificate and Administrative experience required Must reside in the Springfield Public Schools district Knowledge of current curriculum, instructional trends, school improvement process, technology use, student assessment systems Opportunities to support additional district schools through subbing

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with supervising and evaluating personnel Assist with the supervision of students and maintaining discipline Assist with developing a good school climate Assist in student attendance matters Supervise school extra curricular activities Responsible for building inventory Assist with the supervision of buildings and grounds Responsible for student scheduling Facilitate communication with students, families and staff Perform other duties as assigned

EFFECTIVE DATE

First contractual day of the 2026-2027 District 186 218-day calendar SALARY and

BENEFITS

In accordance with current SPAA negotiated agreement Personal and Sick Leave
