East Noble School Corporation East Noble School Corporation is accepting applications for the following vacancy: Student Services Director The East Noble School Corporation Student Services Director plays a critical role in ensuring a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring safety procedures, emergency preparedness plans, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. The Student Services Director, a Central Office position, reports directly to the Superintendent. This is a full-time, 12-month position with medical, dental, vision, and retirement benefits. This position will start on July 1, 2026, with the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year. Approximate starting salary is commensurate with experience Apply no later than April 10, 2026 Educational Leadership License required Primary Responsibilities 1. School Safety & Emergency Management Develop, update, and enforce school safety policies and procedures in alignment with Indiana Department of Education guidelines and applicable laws Lead the school safety committee and facilitate regular review of incident reports and safety concerns Coordinate and conduct required safety drills (fire, tornado, lockdown, evacuation) Serve as the primary liaison to emergency services and law enforcement agencies Monitor and assess building security systems (cameras, access control, visitor management) Investigate safety incidents, document findings, and recommend corrective actions Promote a culture of safety and preparedness throughout the school community Participate in the Noble County Safety Commission Train staff on safety protocols and emergency response procedures 2. Student Discipline & Due Process Serve as District Lead for student discipline Oversee compliance with due process requirements Review and approve Form 16 documentation and expulsion paperwork Serve as expulsion examiner Ensure discipline practices align with district policy and state regulations 3. Attendance & Student Support Services Serve as District Lead for school attendance Supervise and evaluate School Nurses Conduct evaluations of the corporation Social Worker Support coordination of student services to ensure compliance and effectiveness 4. Community & Interagency Collaboration Represent the district on the Community Corrections Board Collaborate with community agencies to support student safety and well-being 5. Compliance, Documentation & Reporting Maintain accurate records of safety, discipline, and student service matters Prepare reports for school administration and district officials Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to student services and safety Applications must include the following:
