  • Full-time West Noble School Corporation is seeking a dynamic and student-centered Elementary School Principal to lead West Noble Elementary.
The successful candidate will be a collaborative leader dedicated to fostering a safe, inclusive, and high-achieving learning community. As the primary instructional leader, you will empower staff, engage families, and ensure that every student has what they need to learn, grow, and thrive.
Key Responsibilities Instructional Leadership:
Drive the implementation of rigorous, standards-aligned curricula and utilize data-driven practices to close achievement gaps and improve student outcomes. Strong knowledge and understanding of Science of Reading and Science of Learning is highly desired.
Staff Development & Evaluation:
Recruit, supervise, and mentor a diverse team of educators; provide consistent, actionable feedback through the evaluation process to promote professional growth.
School Culture:
Cultivate a positive, restorative, and inclusive school climate that prioritizes Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) and student well-being.
Operational Management:
Oversee daily operations, school safety protocols, and budget management to ensure a high-functioning educational environment.
Community Partnership:
Serve as a visible leader and liaison between the school and the West Noble community, fostering transparent communication with parents and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Education:
Master's degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, Curriculum & Instruction, or a related field required.
Certification:
Valid state administrative certification required
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of successful teaching experience/and or administrative experience at the elementary school level preferred.
Skills & Abilities:
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, parents, and the community. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution abilities. Knowledge of current educational trends, best practices in instruction, and student development. Proficiency in data analysis for instructional improvement. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work under pressure. Commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable learning environment. Proficiency with educational technology and administrative software. Bilingual preferred; the ability to understand and to make oneself understood in
Spanish Working Conditions:
Primarily indoors in a school environment. Requires standing, walking, bending, and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds. May involve evening and weekend work for school events and activities. Exposure to various student behaviors and emotional situations. Salary range based on experience and qualifications. 220 day contract for 26-27 school year Administrative benefits package This job description is subject to change.
