Maple Ridge Elementary School is an elementary school located in southern Madison County, Indiana. The Assistant Principal assists and works with the building principal to make sure all operations of the school are carried out to establish and maintain an effective school learning climate, focused on student achievement and career and college readiness.
Primary duties will include:
Assessment coordinator Special education Athletic director
Job Qualifications:
Maple Ridge Elementary is seeking an outstanding individual to support and motivate students, staff, and parents in our mission of success for all students. We are seeking a person that has a strong curriculum and instructional leadership background and excellent communication skills. Firsthand knowledge of RTI, student assessments, and special education policies and procedures is advantageous. Adaptability, creativity, and the perspective of always doing what is best for student sis paramount.
Certification:
Must hold
Indiana Elementary Administration and Supervision Certification Certification Preferences:
Successful elementary teaching experience Experience in a blended learning environment Knowledge of teaching methods, educational pedagogy and behavior management methods successful in school environments at the elementary level
Prefer:
Bilingual Knowledge of Science of Reading Position Requirements:

Collect and use data to identify goals, assess organizational effectiveness, and promote organizational learning Create and implement plans to achieve goals Promote continuous and sustainable improvement
Instructional Leadership:
Nurture and sustain a culture of collaboration, trust, learning, and high expectations Supervise instruction Develop the instructional and leadership capacity of staff Promote the use of the most effective and appropriate technologies to support teaching and learning Evaluate and provide feedback to certified staff
Management and Operations:
Monitor and evaluate the management and operational systems Promote and protect the welfare and safety of students and staff Supervise extra-curricular activities All other duties assigned by the building Principal Building Relationships /
Family and Community Engagement:
Collect and analyze data and information pertinent to the educational environment Promote understanding, appreciation, and use of the community's diverse cultural social and intellectual resources Build and sustain positive relationships with families and caregivers Build and sustain productive relationships with community partners Personal Behavior /
Core Professionalism:
Model principles of self-awareness, reflective practice, transparency, and ethical behavior Consider and evaluate the potential moral and legal consequences of decision-making Promote social justice and ensure that individual student needs inform all aspects of schooling
Political, Social, Economic, Legal, Cultural/Resource Management:
