Immediately Job Description This principal position leads and serves our specialized programs: (1) Riverview Opportunity Center (ROC), (2) Bullitt Advanced Math and Science (BAMS), (3) Bullitt Virtual Learning Academy (BVLA), (4) Bullitt Alternative Center (BAC), and (5) Spring Meadows Children Home. This position is a 240 contract. Candidates must meet all requirements as set forth by the Bullitt County Board of Education and the Kentucky Department of Education Principal certification required Ability to lead diverse programs with different goals and serving different demographics of students simultaneously Successful experience working with middle and/or high school aged students Ability to think innovatively and use continuous improvement systems Ability to build excellent rapport with students on a variety of learning levels and work well with an at-risk population Experience in removing barriers to success for students Assist staff with behavior support and discipline Organized, flexible, adaptable, detail-oriented have experience as a successful leader Knowledge of and responsible for staff professional development, curriculum and evaluation of staff at all sites Strong communication and collaboration skills to work closely with middle and high school administrators, district personnel, outside agencies and post-secondary institutions Strong skills in conflict resolution and problem-solving Candidates will need to possess technology skills to oversee an online curriculum environment. Candidates will oversee Title 1, Part D and work with local and state agencies as required (DJJ, KECSAC, etc.) in conjunction with the Deputy Superintendent/Director of Secondary Education
