Jul 1, 2026 Job Description The Athol Community Elementary School (ACES) is seeking an energetic and talented assistant principal who is available for the '26-'27 School Year. This is a permanent, year-round position for our growing team. The successful candidate will be student-centered, have high expectations, and be a team player. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a plus.

The job responsibilities include:

safety and supervision of students, scheduling, teacher and staff observations and evaluations, helping students meet behavioral expectations, communication with families, curriculum oversight, developing and maintaining systems for smooth operation of the school, and most importantly, contributing to a positive school culture. There are opportunities to serve on district committees, present PD, and grow your professional practice. ACES is a thriving and beautiful school of about 600 students and nearly 100 staff.
