The position of Confidential Administrative Assistant to the Assistant Superintendent of Unified Student Services, which is excluded from the Independent Brockton Administrative Assistants and Technical Employees Association, is being advertised:
Qualifications:
1.Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality relative to all school-related information and to handle confidential data in an appropriate manner. 2.Advanced Microsoft office skills, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access 3.Knowledge of grants and budget management 4.Thorough knowledge of the operations of MUNIS, Frontline, and Infinite Campus 5.Ability to communicate in a courteous, efficient, professional manner 6.Ability to plan, organize, and follow through on complex duties 7.Ability to prioritize tasks and develop work plans to complete tasks in a timely manner 8.Possession of strong organizational, oral and written communications skills 9.Ability to support and enhance the operations of the department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Maintain confidential files in reference to employees (grievances, negotiations, interviews, promotional recommendations, complaints, investigations, and legal matters, etc.). 2.Maintain confidential files in reference to students (confidential reports, DCF Filings, bullying investigations, harassment and discrimination investigations, disciple findings, etc.). 3.Create and execute letters of agreement for contracted faculty and staff and process monthly invoices and timesheets. 4.Maintain and track expenditures for all Office of Unified Student Services budget lines. 5.Track and maintain records of various educator trainings and certifications (e.g., SafetyCare, First Aid/CPR, Civil Rights Compliance, Restorative Justice, etc.). 6.Track and maintain district reports to the Department of Children and Families. 7.Process requests from district support programs, as needed (e.g., bus passes, technology needs, etc.). 8.Compile data, as needed, for state reporting and monitor the compliance of the School District (e.g., restraint documentation and reporting, etc.). 9.Track and manage financials for federal, state, and local Student Support grants, as assigned. 10.Prepare monthly reports as required (e.g., suspension report, etc.). 11.Maintain the OUSS conference room calendar and the meeting calendar of the Assistant Superintendent of Unified Student Services. 12.Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required by the Assistant Superintendent of Unified Student Services. Compensation - $65,000 - $85,000 Specific duties, responsibilities, and expectations of this position will be discussed with each applicant at the time of interview.
