August 24, 2026This position provides clerical and other support to the middle/high school assistant principal and supports the smooth functioning of the middle/high school office by sharing receptionist, phone, and data management functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Assist the Assistant Principal with correspondence and communications.

Assist the Assistant principal with scheduling and appointments.

Assist with location and assignment of substitute teachersMonitor students sent to the office.

Use PowerSchool to compile and submit the School Safety and Discipline Report to the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

Schedule and monitor the use of school facilities.

Document and report out to the district office all hours worked by Unit C personnel.

Coordination of substitute teachers occasionally requires some communication from home prior to the start of the school day.

Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent communication skills - able to communicate verbally and in writing both effectively and succinctly. Detail oriented, comfortable working with calendars, schedules and large databases.

Ability to multi-task and maintain composure while working in a fast paced environment.

Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding student and staff information.

Ability to interact effectively with students, parents and staff.
HOURS PER WEEK
37.25 hours
COMPENSATION
Per Unit C Contract:
$26.66 per hour.
