The Assistant Principal works closely with the Principal to support the overall educational programming of the school for all LPS students, who are middle and high school age and enrolled in grades 5-12. This role includes oversight of core academic areas, teacher supervision and feedback, professional development, support for department heads and other mid-level leaders, and partnership with students, staff, and families to support student success across the school. This position is well suited for an experienced educator and school leader who can support curriculum and instructional practice, coach and develop staff, and help ensure strong implementation of schoolwide systems that strengthen instruction and student outcomes. Responsibilities also include progress reporting, assessment coordination, MTSS and ELL systems, student data tracking, student behavioral support, family communication and collaboration, and serving as a visible, collaborative presence in the daily life of the school. Our students have complex learning profiles, and we are committed to providing them with the education they deserve delivered through the best practices of language-based instruction. While we are not a therapeutic setting or a program for students with significant behavioral support needs, we do offer speech and language, occupational therapy, and counseling services as part of our delivery model. This is a full-time position:

Qualifications:
