00 Commensurate with experience About the Opportunity Swansea Public Schools is seeking an outstanding educational leader to serve as the next Principal of hoyle Elementary School. We are looking for a collaborative, student-centered administrator who is passionate about supporting young learners and empowering educators to deliver high-quality instruction. The next principal will join a dedicated faculty and a supportive community committed to ensuring that every child grows academically, socially, and emotionally in a safe, engaging and supportive learning environment. About the School. Hoyle Elementary School serves students in grades PK-2 and is an integral part of the Swansea community. The school prides itself on strong relationships among students, staff, and families and a shared commitment to continuous improvement. The successful candidate will be a leader who: Inspires and supports high-quality teaching and learning. Builds strong relationships with staff, students, and families. Promotes a positive, inclusive school culture. Uses data and evidence-based practices to improve student outcomes. Supports teacher growth through professional learning. Leads collaboratively and values shared decision-making Ensures a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide strong instructional leadership aligned with district goals. Supervise and evaluate teachers and staff to support professional growth. Lead school improvement planning and implementation. Foster a positive and inclusive school culture. Partner with families and the community to support student success. Manage school operations including scheduling, budgeting, and safety procedures Ensure equitable opportunities and support for all students. All other duties as assigned Qualifications Massachusetts Principal/Assistant Principal License (PreK-6) or eligibility required Master's Degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or related field (CAGS or Doctorate preferred) Successful teaching and leadership experience at the elementary level. Strong knowledge of curriculum, instruction, and assessment Demonstrated ability to build positive school culture and collaborative teams.
