Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic educational community as an Elementary Principal, where you will lead and inspire a vibrant learning environment dedicated to fostering academic excellence, spiritual development, social-emotional growth, and community engagement. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all facets of school operations, promote innovative curriculum development, and cultivate a positive school culture that empowers students and staff alike. Your leadership will shape the future of young learners by setting strategic goals, managing resources effectively, and ensuring a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for everyone. Grace Academy is a Christian school, and all faculty and staff positions are ministerial roles. The Elementary Principal will minister to students, staff, and families at various times and in diverse ways. An active Christian faith and a willingness to serve as a Christian minister are essential to this. In collaboration with the Administrative Team, the following will be included in this job description: Responsibilities Provide visionary leadership to staff, students, and families to create a thriving school community. Develop and implement comprehensive curricula aligned with educational standards that promote critical thinking, creativity, and lifelong learning. Lead strategic planning initiatives to set clear goals for academic achievement, student well-being, and school growth. Manage the school's budget efficiently, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to support instructional programs and extracurricular activities. Supervise teaching staff through mentoring, evaluations, and professional development opportunities to foster continuous improvement. Oversee all school operations including safety protocols, facilities management, and compliance with district policies and state regulations. Engage in public speaking engagements with parents, community stakeholders, and education partners to advocate for the school's mission and initiatives. Coordinate fundraising efforts to support special projects, new programs, or facility enhancements that benefit students and staff. Foster a collaborative environment by promoting teamwork among teachers and staff while encouraging innovative teaching practices. Monitor student progress through data analysis and assessment tools to inform instructional strategies and interventions. Offer spiritual leadership, discipleship, and mentoring opportunities to elementary staff and students Qualifications A Master's Degree or equivalent A relational leader who loves Jesus and loves people, is collaborative, and demonstrates a servant's heart. Proven experience in education administration with a strong background in elementary teaching and leadership roles. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development tailored to diverse learner needs. Strong management skills with experience supervising staff and overseeing school operations. Excellent strategic planning abilities coupled with budgeting experience to ensure effective resource allocation. Exceptional public speaking skills for engaging with students, staff, parents, and community members confidently. A Christian faith that is active and vibrant. and an understanding of a vocational calling to Christian education. Background in fundraising or resource development initiatives is a plus. Deep understanding of classroom practices combined with a passion for working directly with students to foster their growth. Leadership qualities that inspire teams while maintaining a focus on educational excellence and student success. Pay:
$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
