POSITION SUMMARY
The Center Support offers aid to ensure that the Preschool program runs efficiently. The primary focus area will be assisting in the office. Office support will include a variety of tasks including: supporting the Director with staffing and scheduling needs, help executing enrichment days, ensuring policy compliance, and updating calendars. The position has a fixed schedule of 12PM-5PM.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Minimum High School Diploma or GED. One year of experience working with preschool or toddler aged children required. One year of experience working in an administrative support role preferred.
OFFICE DUTIES
Help ensure all staff are meeting the state required 16 hours of annual training.
Support enrichment days:
water day, holiday crafts/activities, picture day etc. Assist the Director in managing the monthly staff schedule as needed. Maintains records in accordance with specified guidelines. Assist the Director in ensuring employee reviews and observations are being completed. Communicates effectively with staff, parents and administration. Maintain a professional and courteous attitude toward staff, families, and students. Ability to be discreet and tactful when communicating with staff and parents. Assist the director in leading all campus-licensed rooms, staff and students, administering day-to-day operations, and issues as they arise. Assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating programs and center policies. Help with the supervision and management of daily class functions of a group of children to ensure the safety, health, and well-being of the children. Answer phone, file, type, copying, and scanning. Tasks will vary day to day based on the Center's needs.
