Organizational Values Diversity, Community, Connection, Growth Position Description The Center for Success Network Literacy Mentor builds relationships with youth, delivers literacy content, shares feedback and progress with CFSN staff, engages consistently with youth, mentors, and families, and amplifies the work of Center for Success Network within their community.

Position responsibilities include:

Session Implementation:

In Person:

Implement summer programming by supporting small and whole group sessions Foster a sense of belonging and community for all students, recognizing and addressing systemic barriers that may hinder some students' access to academic and social-emotional growth. Develop and maintain positive, connected, solution oriented relationships with students and CFSN team members Share student updates with CFSN staff Organization and Program Success Attend all applicable trainings Be responsive to communication from CFSN team Share stories and support in telling the CFSN story

Time Frame:

10 weeks of service, June 15 - August 21

Compensation :

At least 37.5 hours per week, $975 biweekly stipend, Education Award of $1,565

Requirements:

18 years old by start date, U.S. Citizen or have legal residency status
