The Park and Recreation Superintendent performs complex professional and administrative work planning, organizing and directing all recreation and parks activities for the city; preparing and maintaining related records, reports and files; administering budgets and grants; and related work. Work is performed under the general direction of the City Administrator. Bachelor's degree in parks and recreation administration or related field and extensive experience working in parks and recreation administration with some supervisory responsibility, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
