DESCRIPTION
To be present, ready to work and on time for all scheduled hours. Supervise and engage students while at school with direction from the Principal. Assist Elementary school teachers with their work with students. Work with students independently or in a small group as needed. Provide social-emotional breaks for students as needed. Supervise students during online special education services. Provide an example of a disciple of Christ and a willingness to share and witness the Catholic faith with students, staff, and community. Communicate and collaborate with teachers and staff. Able to supervise students in various environments such as classroom, assemblies, fieldtrips, and recess. Recognizing when situations require more effort, putting in more time when needed, completing responsibilities in a timely manner, and ensuring that all care of children is done in a professional and responsible manner. Demonstrate effective and appropriate student-management skills. Supervise students at all times in cafeteria and other areas as needed. Participate in extra-curricular activities in school as appropriate - Marathon, Wines to Wishes and Spring Family Night. Attend all-school events to support families and students. Be an example of a JOY (Jesus - Others - You) filled person. Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Evidence of organizational skills. Evidence of First Aid/CPR training or ability to obtain it. Obtain a background check, complete Virtus class, and sign an Employee Code of Conduct. Evidence of computer skills. Able to effectively communicate with parents. Ability to work 28 hours per week during needed times. Fulfill total commitments of the lunch program and all activities of the school year. Lift and carry up to 30 pounds using proper lifting and carrying techniques.
