Job Description

The Accommodation Advisor works directly with students to determine eligibility for disability-related accommodations and provides support in implementing approved accommodations. This role also participates in department programs and services that support the development of skills related to college success. Key Responsibilities Meet with students requesting accommodations and through the interactive process determine reasonable accommodation eligibility Coordinate student accommodation-related services and auxiliary aids with the student, course instructors, and staff Maintain records and document communications according to department procedures Communicate with current and prospective students to answer questions and provide procedural information, resources, and support Lead small group sessions on college success topics including executive function skills and strategies Minimum Qualifications A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary Anticipated Hiring Range The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $18.87 to $21.00 hourly. Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
