TCAT Jackson Job Summary The Student Services Support Associate will work under the supervision of the Vice President of Student Services and the Vice President of the Stanton Extension Campus. The individual shall be responsible for assisting with duties related to on ground high school dual enrollment and the support of the college. Some travel may be required. Job Duties Minimum Qualifications
  • Requires a high school diploma; technical diploma, or Associate's Degree from an accredited college preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of full-time experience in education, business or industry. Preferred Qualifications
  • Contact and communicate with secondary guidance counselors, principals, superintendents, teachers, and students in high schools throughout the service delivery area.
  • Coordinate with the financial aid office to confirm dual enrollment grant eligibility, certification and reconciliation.
  • Assist high school students, faculty, and staff with completing applications and paperwork.
  • Assist with the admissions process and registration of new and returning students.
  • Responsible for attendance counseling of dual enrollment students.
  • File applications electronically for students as needed.
  • Maintain files accurately and accurately prepare and process records and reports.
  • Handle multiple tasks simultaneously effectively analyzing data and inquiries, and making appropriate decisions.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment in evaluating situations and making decisions.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.
