Job Summary The Student Success Hub Peer Mentor Team provides PNW students with personalized support and meaningful connections to campus resources. Through mentoring, success coaching, and accountability groups, peer mentors build strong, supportive relationships that foster both academic and personal growth. These connections encourage deeper engagement in the college experience, making it more enriching and rewarding, while offering guidance that promotes persistence and long-term success. Peer Mentors will be paid a starting rate of $12 per hour. Work hours will be up to 10 hours a week.

Hours are not guaranteed and are subject to change. Education Must be a current student at the time of application Duties and Responsibilities Conduct regular check-ins with mentees via text, email, and in-person meetings Connect students with extracurricular opportunities, including clubs and student organizations Refer students to appropriate PNW student support resources Assist students in common academic challenge areas (e.g., time management, goal setting, procrastination, study skills) Develop, plan, and facilitate events that promote academic success and social engagement Support Student Success Coaches by assisting students in completing assigned action plans Ensure all student interactions are thoroughly documented in the required reporting system Perform additional duties as assigned Core Competencies Cumulative GPA of 2.7 or higher and in good academic standing Minimum classification of sophomore Strong written and verbal communication skills Familiarity with campus-based resources Proficiency navigating MyPNW and MyPNW Plan Demonstrated leadership abilities Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion Availability to work up to 10 hours per week Commitment to fostering diversity, inclusion, and multicultural understanding
