Job Description
Graduate Assistant - Women's Wrestling Midland University - Fremont, NE 68025 Apply Apply Description Midland University, a private, faith-based, liberal arts university in Fremont, Nebraska (just outside of metro Omaha), is looking for a highly motivated coach or aspiring coach to serve as a Graduate Assistant for the University's NAIA Women's Wrestling program. This position will be offered within our graduate assistant structure, requiring admission to the University's Master of Education, Master of Science Learning and Talent Development, Master of Science and Sports Administration and Leadership, or Master of Business Administration programs. In addition to the academic responsibilities, the candidate will contribute to various aspects of the women's wrestling program, including assistant coaching, program administration, practice preparation, and other duties the head coach assigns. The person who holds this position will receive tuition remission from the University and may also receive a campus meal plan and a monthly stipend, depending on the degree pursued.
Job responsibilities include:
Representing Midland University Assisting the head coach with the administration and leadership of the women's wrestling program Recruiting student athletes Maintaining and tracking equipment Providing coaching during practice and drills Preparing for duals and tournaments Overseeing team travel Coordinating team fundraisers and community service events Recording stats Running camps and clinics Helping to ensure team compliance with all NAIA and institutional, rules and regulationsCompensation:
