Elementary Principal Requirements:
NJ Principal's Certificate Required (Standard, Provisional, or CE) Minimum of five (5) years of successful teaching experience; Administrative Experience required Knowledge/experience with early childhood/elementary best practices (particularly Mathematics and English Language Arts); Understanding of teacher observation/evaluation process; Ability to manage local, state, and federal funds (school level); Ability to strengthen family and community engagement; Knowledge of school law, assessment accountability, and NJ Student Learning Standards; Willingness to work collaboratively with building and central office administration (in a large district setting).

HTASA Salary Guide:
(min.) $145,463 to (max.) $172,067.
