Located near the shores of beautiful Lake Tahoe, Saint Clare's Tahoe is seeking a full-time Assistant Head of School and Athletic Director. St. Clare's Tahoe is an independent Catholic school in the Diocese of Reno founded in 2018. Home of the Golden Eagles, St. Clare's is made up of a Montessori lower school serving students in grades Pre-K3 through 6th, and a Classical upper school serving 7th through 8th graders. St Clare's Tahoe delivers a unique combination of classical education, opportunities for hands-on project-based learning, and a passion for outdoor adventure. We are looking for a candidate with a devout Catholic faith, strong leadership and organizational skills, attention to detail, and a joyful charisma who can inspire youth and oversee the smooth functioning of our school on a daily basis. The candidate must be a practicing Roman Catholic in good standing with the Church. This position entails taking on a number of roles in our small school community. As Assistant Head of School, this position includes overseeing the functioning and logistics of the school, ensuring good discipline and smooth daily operation, interfacing with parents, supporting students and teachers, managing class scheduling and state requirements, and working towards accreditation. As Athletics Director, this position includes oversight of our outdoor programs, coaching or overseeing our track and cross country teams as well as expanding our current sports offerings. Professional development opportunities are available for applicants who are a great fit for our school community but lack training/experience.
