We will initially serve students from Pre-K3 through 3rd grade, then expand to 6th grade, offering a high-quality education that combines strong academic outcomes with the principles of authentic Montessori. We seek a collaborative Administrative Partner, licensed or eligible as a school administrator, to work alongside teacher leaders in a nonhierarchical model, ensuring compliance and contributing to shared decision-making. This position will begin as part-time work This position will begin as a part-time role during the school's 2026-2027 planning year and will move to full-time as soon as Dec 2026. The planning year schedule is highly flexible and is designed to accommodate candidates who may remain in a full-time administrative role during the planning year. The position will transition to a full-time position for the 2027-2028 school year. Summary As the Founding Charter Admin Partner, you will develop and operationalize the charter school's operations, governance, and administrative support for Northern Nevada Wildflower Montessori (NNWM), in collaboration with Teacher Leaders and the Board of Directors. The Charter Admin Partner reports to the Board of Directors. This role is designed to support Teacher Leaders, not manage, within a non-hierarchical management structure. The Charter Admin Partner will be primarily responsible for maintaining charter and preschool compliance requirements and reporting charter-wide. Minimum Qualifications In accordance with
NRS 388A.521
A valid teacher's license issued pursuant to of NRS with an administrative endorsement OR A master's degree in school administration, public administration or business administration OR A bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience in school administration, public administration or business administration Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a shared/distributive leadership, collaborative, and non-hierarchical environment Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to run systems that are both effective and efficient.
Essential Responsibilities:
Operations & Compliance Enhance and implement the incubation year and start-up operations plan for NNWM in alignment with authorizer expectations, state and federal requirements, Nevada Childcare Licensing, and Wildflower Teacher Leader School Startup timelines. Maintain and track all charter compliance and Nevada Childcare Licensing systems and requirements, in collaboration with Teacher Leaders, ensuring the school meets all accountability expectations. Maintain organized records of all authorizer correspondence, submissions, and approvals. Collaborate with Teacher Leaders and the Finance Partner or contractor to develop reporting standards and protocols. Maintain a compliance reporting schedule and communicate all charter school requirements to Teacher Leaders, the Board of Directors, the back office support partner, and the finance partner. Preparing and submitting compliance documents, data reports, and financial filings on behalf of the school Facilitating authorizer site visits, audits, and monitoring processes by managing logistics and supporting staff preparation Communicating proactively with the authorizer to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and build a relationship of trust. Surfacing compliance risks or concerns to the team and board and engaging the advice process when decisions are needed Manage schoolwide business and governmental relationships, including charter authorizer, preschool licensor, business partnerships, and affiliation with The Wildflower Foundation. Oversee enrollment, reporting, human resources, back office support partner, financial management, and student information systems, ensuring smooth administrative processes, in collaboration with Teacher Leaders. Design and implement enrollment, financial management, and student information data systems in collaboration with Teacher Leaders. Cultivate grant, scholarship, and fundraising opportunities for pre-school and charter school in partnership with Teacher Leaders and the Board of Directors. Governance & Leadership Collaborate closely with the NNWM Board of Directors and Founding Teacher Leaders to plan, develop, and operate the K-6 charter and preschool site. Collaborate with Teacher Leaders to ensure all commitments outlined in the Membership Agreement between The Wildflower Foundation and NNWM align with the school's mission and goals. Identify and steward key community and back-office partnerships, alongside Teacher Leaders, that strengthen the school's ability to deliver a culturally responsive Montessori learning environment. Develop and maintain excellent collaborative relationships with other charters, preschools, and Montessori leaders in the region. Community Engagement & Communications Develop and operationalize a comprehensive communications plan alongside Teacher Leaders to support and advance NNWM's mission. Partner with nonprofit organizations, local stakeholders, and Teacher Leaders to build and maintain community connections that support culturally responsive Montessori learning environments for the families and neighborhoods we serve. Maximize access to community resource partners and revenue assistance for low-income families across the charter and preschool school Preferred Attitudes, Knowledge, and Skills Entrepreneurial leadership

Hours & Benefits This is a full-time position with a salary range of$70,000
