  • Yonkers/Hastings/White Plains-10 Month Program The School-Based Supervising Clinician is responsible for the supervision of clinicians and interns on clinical and administrative functions and maintains a trauma-responsive, culturally congruent stance on clinical care.
The School-Based Supervising Clinician conducts client screenings, evaluations, and treatment, as the primary clinician for assigned clients and is expected to meet a productivity contact commitment of 10 billable hours per week. The School-Based Supervising Clinician works collaboratively with school staff, administrators, and families to ensure coordination and the best quality care for the student population. The School-Based Supervising Clinician provides clinical coverage on a rotating basis for the on-call schedule and is supervised by the Director of School-Based Clinical Services. The supervising clinician schedule is based on 10 month DOE calendar aligned with the Hastings/White Plains/Yonkers School District. Essential Duties of Supervising Clinician-School Based Yonkers/Hastings/White Plains-10 Month Program Key duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: Provides high-quality oversight and approval of clinical work and monitors and evaluates performance, with a focus on fiscal sustainability for the program/Agency; Collaborates with onsite Principals, Teachers, PPS/school support team, and parents/caregivers to ensure quality mental health services are provided to the student population and their families; Provides clinical supervision and coaching weekly for clinical staff; Supports the implementation of clinically appropriate treatment plans and all related documentation for client records in the electronic health record in line with OMH regulations and agency policies and procedures; Provides psychotherapy to clients and their families using individual, group, and family interventions as well as other agency approved evidenced-based treatment modalities; Promotes integrated, person-centered care; Coordinates/facilitates educational activities for the school staff, parents, and the community; Supports evaluation of program services to enhance client outcomes and acts as a positive change agent to implement clinical initiatives to increase quality client care; Serves as on call Supervising clinician as scheduled on a rotating basis; Act as a resource to clinical staff by maintaining knowledge of OMH regulations and standards of care as they relate to clinical practice; Supports overall strategic plan of the organization; Ability to adhere to our organization's core values, commitments, policies and procedures; Essential Qualifications of Supervising Clinician-School Based Yonkers/Hastings/White Plains-10 month Program Key qualifications include: Licensed (LCSW, LCSW-R, Ph.D or Psy.

D) with a current professional license in NYS; Must have at least (4) four years of clinical experience including (3) three years of supervisory and administrative experience; Bilingual Spanish a huge plus; Relevant clinical experience with children, adolescent, adults and families; Knowledge of and experience with multiple modalities and evidence-based Interventions; Strong computer skills, with knowledge of electronic health record system; Excellent oral and written communication skills; Ability to meet session productivity standards; Ability to access and utilize ADP app on smartphone or other device for access to agency programs.
