Overview:
The Coordinator of School Success advances the district's mission of ensuring high levels of learning for all students by supporting school leadership, MTSS implementation, continuous improvement efforts, and Title I program alignment across all schools in partnership with the Chief of Schools. The position focuses on improving academic outcomes for students at the greatest risk of underachievement by strengthening leadership capacity, building aligned MTSS systems, improving Tier 1 instruction through the Ohio Improvement Process, and coordinating equitable Title I supports across schools. Operating at the systems and leadership level, this role supports the consistent implementation and monitoring of district priorities.
Essential Functions:
Promotes a district-wide focus on continuous improvement and equitable access to high quality instruction Supports coherence of school leadership practices and school improvement efforts across all schools Reinforces prevention-based systems that reduce reliance on reactive interventions Communicates clear expectations for school leadership, improvement, and instructional practices Provides the Chief of Schools with insights, trends, and implementation feedback across buildings Participates as an active member of the management team with a school leadership and success focus. Supports alignment of the Ohio Improvement Process (DLT, BLTs, and TBTs) Coordinates district-wide data systems and instructional monitoring. Supports the identification of students requiring additional academic support Coordinates school leadership and success systems, structures, and implementation supports. Leads professional learning aligned to school leadership, success, and Title I priorities. Leads and provides structured support to ensure effective implementation and sustainability at the classroom, team, and building levels in alignment with the Chief of Schools Strengthens MTSS and prevention systems. Leads the development and supports the implementation of MTSS meeting structures, documentation systems, and progress monitoring cycles Aligns MTSS with attendance, PBIS, and school climate systems Supports the leadership, monitoring, and implementation of Title I across the district. Pursues growth opportunities that enhance professional performance. Assists principals in planning and evaluating Title I-funded programs Monitors the effectiveness of Title I initiatives using student outcome data Leads and provides strategic consultation to ensure resources are targeted to students most at risk Performs other specific job-related duties as directed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in Educational Leadership, Curriculum & Instruction, Educational Administration, or a related field Valid Ohio educator license Valid Ohio principal or administrative license, or eligibility to obtain one Minimum five years of successful teaching experience Minimum three years of instructional leadership experience Demonstrated experience supporting school improvement initiatives Experience analyzing student achievement and growth data Experience facilitating professional learning for educators Knowledge of MTSS frameworks, including Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 system Ability to support principals and school teams in implementing district initiatives with fidelity
