• supervise and evaluate high school staff
• handle student discipline and attendance issues
• build positive professional relationships with staff, students and families
• maintain a high level of communication with staff, students and families Minimum qualifications include:
• possess a valid Ohio Dept. of Education professional administrator license and an OTES credentialed
• understand special education law
• ability to prepare IEP and 504 documents that conform to federal, state and district requirements and plan/develop Specially Designed Instruction (SDI)
• have experience with case management and ability to oversee/coordinate staff and other service providers
• a record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment (BCI/FBI background checks)
