Junior High School Assistant Principal (Grades 7-8)

Pickerington Local School District seeks qualified applicants for an Assistant Junior High School Principal (grades 7-8).

Job Goal:

To provide support to the instructional process with specific responsibility for directing assigned programs and services. To provide information and serve as a resource to others. Supervise assigned staff, coordinate school activities and addressing issues, situations and/or problems that occur on campus or with enrolled students.

Qualifications:

Valid Ohio certificate/license for principal including grades 5-12 Master's degree, with a major in education administration, curriculum, and supervision preferred Minimum of five (5) years successful classroom teaching experience (at least 18 months in the secondary level under a standard 4-9 or secondary teacher's certificate) Successful demonstration and/or knowledge of the Ohio Standards for Principals preferred OTES Credentialed Evaluator Ability to interpret/analyze data to determine student success Work collaboratively with building principal and other district/building departments And/or any additional qualifications, training or other credentials, as determined by the Board of Education.

Salary:

Commensurate with experience (220 Day Contract)
