Min Hourly Rate $15.05 (Standard); $14.05 (Non-Urban); $16.30 (Portland Metro) Max Hourly Rate $21.50 (Standard); $21.00 (Non-Urban); $22.00 (Portland Metro) Position Summary This recruitment will be used to fill 10 part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) Student Information Technology positions for the College of Engineering at Oregon State University ( OSU ). The College of Engineering seeks a student to assist with desktop support in the College of Engineering's Information Technology group. We are looking for a student who can make a long term (2-3 year) commitment at approximately 10-20 hours per week will full time opportunities during breaks and summer. Candidates must be interested in developing their professional skills - we will train, as necessary. Student employees are trained on the job and work alongside full-time IT staff and senior IT students. In this position, students learn and build vital career-readiness skills in the primary areas below: Communication, Teamwork, Technology Position Duties Provide technical support for staff, faculty, and students. Monitoring computer labs. MacOS, Windows and Linux. Learning IT management tools such as Active Directory, Citrix, Entra, Intune, MCM , VMWare, PVS Tracking and coordinating work using a ticketing system. Managing equipment lifecycle. Maintaining classroom technologies.
