JOB INFORMATION
The SAS Proctor will play an essential role in the administration of various tests while assisting the Operations Coordinator in the day-to-day functions of the Student Accessibility Services office. The primary focus will be placed on test proctoring and customer service duties. A strong ability to communicate clearly, multi-task, and maintain confidentiality is required for this position. This is a part-time hourly pool. Applications are collected for possible immediate, or future college vacancies. This type of employment is temporary and often sporadic. Provides professional and friendly customer service to students, faculty, staff and community members Maintains a high level of confidentiality at all times Administers and serves as proctor for internet-based, computer-based and paper tests Follow examinee admission requirements for identification and documentation as fulfillment of vendor and instructor requirements Administer test in areas requiring special certifications (such as Pearson Vue, CLEP, and ASE) Maintains appropriate test conditions, security regulations and procedures for tests, files, and records by direct observation or monitoring security cameras Draft and provide supervisor with incident and irregularity reports as needed for Chemeketa and exam vendors Works effectively both independently and collaboratively as a contributing team member in delivery of quality services Utilizes appropriate college and vendor software and database applications as directed Follows all established policies and procedures as determined by supervisor Ensures high level of test security in compliance with rules and regulations of external exam vendors, standardized proctoring protocols and procedures for securing tests, files, and records Maintains certifications for external testing agencies Adheres to department policies and procedures while maintaining test integrity Gathers confidential information including accommodated tests in compliance with Title II of the ADA, section 504 Rehabilitation Act, and best practices Performs In-Class assistant duties to support student accommodation needs including lab, lecture, and field trips as assigned to reduce barriers to student success Attends and participates meetings, in-service, and training as needed Communicate effectively via phone and email, schedule appointments, update staff and general calendars Enter information into department databases with accuracy and in compliance with established proceduresInstitutional Expectations:

Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma/GED- AND•One year of experience working with the public•AND•Basic Computer Skills If hired, employee must be certified as a proctor for required external exam vendors within three months of hire.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Part-time hourly positions will not exceed 900 working hours per fiscal year Certified as a proctor for required external exam vendors within three months of hire All positions at Chemeketa are required to be available for work onsite as requested by the college. Requires flexible work schedule to meet program needs, which may include evenings and/or weekends This position may require the use of your personal vehicle for transportation between campus locations If requested, you must supply official transcripts within 30-days of hire Employees must maintain Oregon, Washington or Idaho residency as a condition of employment. Sedentary Work:
Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. PUBLIC SERVICE LOAN FORGIVENESS
Chemeketa Community College is considered a qualifying public employer for the purposes of the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program. Through the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program, full-time employees working at the College may qualify for forgiveness of the remaining balance on Direct Loans after 120 qualifying monthly payments under a qualifying repayment plan.
