Awarding Support) Primary Function Supports scholarship programs through student outreach, engagement, and event coordination. Ensures students are informed, supported, and successfully connected to scholarship opportunities. Responsibilities
  • Conduct outreach to current and prospective students regarding scholarship opportunities.
  • Support the Scholarship Administrator with awarding processes as needed.
  • Follow up with students regarding applications, requirements, and deadlines.
  • Coordinate student participation in scholarship events, including the annual recognition program.
  • Represent scholarships at college-wide events to promote awareness and engagement.
  • Assist in preparing donor stewardship materials and event-related communications.
  • Support application processing, data entry, and database maintenance.
  • Track RSVPs, attendance, and logistics for scholarship-related events.
  • Maintain accurate records of student interactions and outreach efforts.
  • Collaborate with campus departments to ensure scholarship information is accurate and accessible.
  • Participate in NCC Foundation and Institutional Advancement events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. Organizational Relationships
  • Reports to the Director of Scholarships & Stewardship.
  • Works collaboratively with Institutional Advancement and campus partners.
  • Supports the College's mission through student engagement and scholarship promotion. Qualifications
Education:
Associate's degree required
    Experience:
    Experience in student services, outreach, events, or customer-facing roles preferred; entry-level candidates welcome.
    Skills & Abilities:
    o Strong interpersonal and communication skills o Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail o Comfort working with diverse student populations in multiple formats (in-person, phone, virtual) o Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems o Ability to work both independently and collaboratively o Positive, professional, and student-centered approach Welcome to the career site for Northampton Community College. The report also contains information about crime statistics for the three most recent calendar years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in On-Campus Student Housing Facilities; in Non-Campus buildings or property owned or controlled by the College or a recognized student organization; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus.
