www.niatn.org Aim Nashville International Academy is seeking an accomplished leader with a proven track record of success for the Principal position to advance the school's goal of becoming the model Islamic Whole Child Education institution in the United States. The ideal candidate will lead with unwavering commitment to the school's vision and mission. The Principal will be instrumental in driving the institution to the next level of excellence while building meaningful partnerships with all stakeholders, including parents, teachers, staff, and the broader community. This is an on-site, full-time position, and the principal will report to the NIA Board. Qualifications Required Qualifications Masters degree or higher in educational leadership or related fields from an accredited college/university Teaching experience in an accredited school Proven track record of excellence in school leadership Ability to create a positive school environment centered around the school's values Working knowledge of curriculum and instruction Ability to lead and manage the school with the outlined vision, mission, and whole-child philosophy of education Ability to evaluate the instructional programs and teaching effectiveness Ability to manage budget and personnel Ability to coordinate campus functions Ability to implement policy and procedures Ability to interpret data Duties and responsibilities The Principal shall be the school's chief administrative officer and shall have the general responsibility for the school under the policies and the guidelines of the school and which have been approved by the NIA Board. The Principal shall supervise the business, academic, and administrative affairs consistent with the Articles of the Bylaws. The responsibilities of the Principal consistent with the policies adopted by the School Board shall be: Faithfully, diligently, and competently perform all duties and responsibilities of the Principal in full alignment with NIA's mission and vision. Foster a healthy, positive, and high-performing school environment, serving the entire school community with professionalism, care, and integrity. Recruit, hire, evaluate, and invest in the growth and development of faculty and staff. Serve as the instructional leader of the school, implementing academic standards required by the State of Tennessee and applicable accreditation bodies. Evaluate and supervise the performance of all teachers and staff, driving continuous improvement in instructional quality and school operations. Work with the finance team to ensure the financial well-being of the school Establish, maintain, and strengthen positive relationships between the school and the broader community, in alignment with Board policies. Develop and present school policies, procedures, goals, and guidelines for Board approval, and ensure full compliance with NIA and State of Tennessee legal requirements. Report directly to the School Board, attending meetings regularly and providing updates on key developments. Pursue continuous professional growth and lead with consistent alignment to NIA's mission, vision, and Islamic whole-child education philosophy.
