Job Description

DAINGERFIELD-LONE STAR ISD POSITION OPENING PRINCIPAL
West Elementary School Grades EC - 2
Education:
Master's Degree from an accredited college or university recognized for teacher education Appropriate certification required Certified appraiser in the Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS)
Experience:
Minimum three years successful teaching experience required Successful experience as a school principal or assistant principal preferred Other successful experience in a public school leadership role considered
Position Goal:
Utilize skills to provide a complete program of educational services at the elementary school level
Required Abilities:
Strong leadership and management qualities Listening and communicating skills Belief in shared decision-making Strengths in Human Resources, Instructional Planning, Positive Discipline Management, Budgeting, Student Activities Planning, and Effective use of
