Principal Diocese of Dallas Schools Garland, TX Job Details Full-time 12 hours ago Qualifications Spanish Full Job Description Good Shepherd Catholic School, located in Garland, TX in the Diocese of Dallas, announces its search for an experienced, energetic and innovative Catholic leader to serve as its next principal. The position is effective July 1, 2026. While a full position profile will be available in the coming weeks, a brief overview of the school follows.
MISSION STATEMENT
Good Shepherd School offers a high-quality Catholic Education in a diverse Christ-centered setting which promotes spiritual, academic, and social growth in order that our students may reach their full potential. Good Shepherd Catholic School, home of the Cardinals, has been a cornerstone of faith and academic excellence in downtown Garland since 1954. With approximately 100 students and a dedicated team of 20 faculty and staff, we provide a nurturing, Christ-centered environment where students grow intellectually, spiritually, and socially. Rooted in Catholic values, we inspire our Cardinals to use their gifts in service to others through acts of charity, peace, and justice. Our tradition of academic achievement, vibrant student life, and strong sense of community make Good Shepherd a place where students soar. The ideal candidate to lead Good Shepherd will possess the following: Five or more years of collaborative leadership experience as a principal and/or assistant principal (Catholic school leadership and experience preferred). An advanced degree in Educational Administration/Leadership or Principal Certification (may be in-progress) A commitment to promoting and supporting the spiritual growth of the school community. Demonstrated experience working with school communities on curriculum and staff development. Candidates will be practicing Catholics. Candidates must be fluent in Spanish.
