COMPENSATION
&
BENEFITSExpected Pay Rate:
$16.00-$17.50 hourly (Pay is commensurate with experience and qualifications.)

WORK ENVIRONMENT
& SCHEDULEThis is an on-campus, office-based role within the Registrars Office that will work 32 hours a week. Work is primarily sedentary, involving extended periods of sitting, computer use, and communication via phone and email. Standard business hours apply, with occasional support required for events such as commencement.
ABOUT THE
ROLEThe Student Records Assistant supports the daily operations of the Registrars Office by maintaining accurate student records, assisting with records processing, and providing frontline service to students, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders.
WHY THIS ROLE
MATTERSThis role ensures the accuracy, integrity, and timely processing of student academic records, which are critical for student success, institutional compliance, and effective university operations. The position directly impacts students academic progress, and access to essential services
WHAT YOU WILL
DOProvide customer service to students, alumni, faculty, and staff in person, by phone, and onlineProcess transcript requests, enrollment verifications, and other student record requests accurately and efficientlyMaintain and manage official student files in accordance with record retention policiesAssist with administration of the Student Information System (SIS) and related enrollment and registration processesMonitor and assist with student activity in learning management systemsSupport academic progress tracking and processes such as Incomplete and In Progress statusesAssist in graduation processing, including degree audits and commencement coordinationProvide administrative support such as managing shared inbox communications and assisting with classroom scheduling
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

QUALIFICATIONS
)EducationHigh school diploma or equivalentExperience & SkillsStrong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsMeticulous attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to handle confidential information with integrityAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasksProblem-solving and critical thinking abilities
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working in a Registrars Office or higher education environmentFamiliarity with student information systems (SIS)Knowledge of FERPA regulations and student record complianceExperience with online or distance education environments
