A Member Specialist is responsible for sales to members and guests involving membership, locker rental and other programs and services offered at the Eccles Student Life Center.
General Description
This position needs good decision making skills and the ability to work with little supervision. Individuals must be friendly and have an extensive working knowledge of Campus Recreation Services facilities and services.
Responsibilities Duties Include (but not limited to):
Provide Information to new members about services and programs
Lead facility tours
Process approved membership renewals
Update member file system
Follow cash handling procedures as described in operations manual
Report discrepancies with cash drawer or deposit to Facility Manager
Process new and approved locker rental renewals
Perform monthly locker renewal notices
Minimum Qualifications Current University of Utah Student
Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and have a strong knowledge of and experience with Campus Recreation Services facilities, services and programs.
Must also have good decision-making skills and be detailed orientated
