Salary Scale :
$66,355

  • FREE Life and Accidental Death insurance and FREE meals during work Your goals and objectives will include: Oversee the Special Education instruction school-wide Manage a caseload of students Occasionally teach or work with students in small groups or one-on-one settings.
Identify students who need academic or social/behavior interventions Contact parent/guardian monthly of assigned unit and provide educational update, keep documentation of contacts. Maintain documentation for multi-state accreditation and regulatory audits: updated list of employees, current licenses for all licensed employees, hospital licenses, fire and safety training and monthly drills, hospital and school policies, attestations, and assurances. Complete recertification every two years for Utah State Board of Education. Track Incident Reports and Behavior Emergency Reports make sure they are accurate, emailed to the correct school district personnel, put hard copy in file within 24hrs. of occurrence
Qualifications:
Your qualifications and experience include: We are looking for a experienced teacher with excellent interpersonal skills and a sense of humor who thrives while working with adolescent males You must have the ability and interest to work with students at different grade and skill levels Utah Secondary Teaching license with Special Education endorsement
