Job Summary:
The Windham Southeast School District (WSESD)/Windham Southeast Supervisory Union (WSESU) is an increasingly diverse community with an ongoing commitment to social justice and anti-racism. We are looking for enthusiastic professionals to join us in furthering this work. www.wsesu.org/socjus WSESU is looking for motivating, engaging, and diverse educators and encourages all who are interested in diversity, equity and social justice to consider working with us. The Intensive Services Interventionist will assist in the development, implementation, and revision for highly detailed special education programs for at least one student with intensive needs or to be the program assistant supporting a specialized program for students with intensive social-emotional needs. In doing so, they work in partnership with teachers, special educators, and related services staff to provide unique and highly structured special education programs. These staff members are expected to function independently, after training and under supervision, to implement programming for students in WSESU's intensive services classrooms, specialized intensive social-emotional programs, or to provide inclusion support for high-needs students within the general education setting.
