Jul 1, 2026 Job Description Georgia Elementary & Middle School is seeking a student-centered leader to join our administrative team. The Assistant Principal will focus on grades PreK-8 behavioral systems, climate and culture, school counseling, health, wellness, and 504 plan case management. Responsibilities include collaborating with faculty to implement best practices related to students' social-emotional, behavioral, and academic support; coordinating and monitoring 504 plans to ensure appropriate accommodations and compliance; partnering with staff and families to enhance a positive school culture; and supporting the student management system. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask, maintain a calm and professional demeanor, work collaboratively as part of a team, and demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure equitable and inclusive educational opportunities for all students.
  • Be willing to collaborate, learn, and grow within a team.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Effectively communicate with a variety of constituents, including students, faculty, administrators, parents, and the broader school community.
  • Utilize PBIS and Responsive Classroom practices to foster a sense of belonging.
  • Reflect upon their practice and data to continue to grow professionally.
