Teacher CESA 7 Head Start/Early Head Start Green Bay, WI Job Details Full-time $26.76 - $31.64 an hour 6 hours ago Benefits Health savings account Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Employee assistance program Vision insurance Professional development assistance Life insurance Retirement plan Qualifications Associate's degree Early Childhood Education Full Job Description CESA 7 Head Start 0-5 is looking for individuals who are knowledgeable about young children and are skilled at guiding their development in an early childhood, preschool classroom setting. We are looking for a full time, lead teacher, that will work with two assistant teachers and a nutrition aide, in our part-day classroom in Ashwaubenon at Cormier Early Learning Center. Children attend school Monday through Thursday and staff have classroom planning on Fridays. Our Head Start school year schedule will follow the Ashwaubenon School district calendar. This is a contracted position working mid August to early June with the salary stretched over 12 months. QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred, or Elementary Education with Pre-K, required. We will also review applications from those with an Associate's Degree, and successful experience, in Early Childhood Education as well.
Experience in:
pre-school setting - preferably Head Start; working with families and children of varying economic, social, ethnic backgrounds preferred; staff supervision and evaluation; curriculum planning; observational child assessment; and experience in methods of positive discipline/supportive classroom management strategies-preferred. Able to work independently, using good written communication skills to accurately complete paperwork in a timely manner.
