This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, fostering a positive classroom atmosphere, and supporting each child's academic and social development. The ideal candidate will bring energy, creativity, and a strong commitment to nurturing young learners' curiosity and confidence. As an integral part of our educational team, you will contribute to shaping the future by empowering students through innovative teaching strategies and personalized mentorship. Responsibilities Design and implement dynamic lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards in literacy, math, science, social studies, and other core subjects. Foster a supportive classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and encourages student engagement. Utilize learning technology tools to enhance instructional delivery and support diverse learning styles. Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing preparations. Provide individualized tutoring and support for students with special education needs or those requiring early intervention strategies. Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum development initiatives and participate in school-wide activities. Mentor students in social-emotional skills, behavior management, and classroom responsibilities to promote holistic growth. Incorporate library services and literacy education techniques to cultivate a love for reading and writing among students. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavioral concerns, and upcoming events. Support inclusive education practices working with children with autism or other special needs to ensure equitable learning opportunities. Experience Prior classroom experience working with elementary-aged children, particularly in 4th grade or similar settings. Demonstrated expertise in lesson planning, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques. Experience working with students requiring special education accommodations or early intervention programs. Knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education practices, and behavior management strategies. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures, literacy education methods, math instruction, and working with diverse learners. Proven ability to communicate clearly with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators.
