This teacher will cultivate a classroom rich in paideia, where habits of attention, wonder, and obedience are carefully nurtured alongside foundational skills in literacy and numeracy. Through stories, songs, repetition, and meaningful routines, the teacher will guide students to love what is true, good, and beautiful, while beginning to develop their ability to think clearly and express themselves well. The ideal candidate is a mature and growing Christian who models a life of faith and virtue, sees teaching as a calling, and delights in partnering with families to shape both the hearts and minds of young students in a distinctly Christ-centered community.
