Transitional Kindergarten Teacher

LOCATION

Sunflower Elementary School

SALARY RANGE

$72,375.62 - $145,460.06: With correct placement on Certificated Salary Schedule. A maximum of ten years prior teaching experience is allowable provided the experience has been in a public school system.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Must hold or qualify for a Multiple Subject Credential issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing authorizing service as a teacher in the above position. In addition, must hold or qualify for appropriate certification to service ELL students.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree, including all courses needed to meet credential requirements. MUST meet one of the following to service TK students:

• Child Development Site Supervisor Teacher Permit or PK - 3 Early Childhood Education Specialist Instruction Credential issued by CTC
• At least 24 units in early childhood education, or childhood development, or both
• Professional experience in a classroom setting with preschool age children comparable to the 24 units of education
