Elementary School Teacher

Duties Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards across subjects such as literacy education, math, and social studies. Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management techniques and clear expectations. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to support student success. Engage in ongoing professional development related early childhood education, or other specialized instructional approaches. Qualifications Proven classroom experience in elementary education. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Proficiency in teaching. Excellent communication skills for working effectively with students and colleagues. Experience with classroom management strategies. Ability to adapt lessons for students with special needs or those requiring early intervention services. Demonstrated skills in curriculum development, lesson planning, proofreading educational materials, and writing skills for instructional purposes. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and assessment tools. Knowledge of behavior management techniques and working with children with diverse backgrounds or needs.
