Los Angeles, CA Job Details Full-time $53,435 - $84,995 a year 19 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Spanish Interpersonal skills Teaching Certification Working with students Lesson planning Full Job Description This position is for the 2026-2027 school year at Harvard Elementary Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) Region West Harvard Elementary School is seeking a dedicated Elementary Spanish Dual Language Teacher to teach a 1st/2nd Grade combination class for the 2026-2027 school year. We are looking for educators who have a strong understanding of the California Common Core State Standards, expertise in foundational literacy instruction, and experience providing effective small-group instruction. For the Dual Language position, candidates should be able to deliver literacy instruction in both English and Spanish. We are also seeking teachers who can design and implement engaging, project-based learning experiences that support student achievement and growth. Harvard Elementary is located North of Koreatown between Beverly Blvd. and Western Blvd located in Region West, LAUSD. We are a Title I school with 43% Emergent Bilinguals.

Organizational skills Lesson Planning CA Common Core State Standards Classroom and Behavior management Willingness to learn, collaborate with colleagues, and able to be flexible Multiple subject teaching credential; Bilingual; BCLAD in Spanish; Cleared TB test; Applicants will need to pass a background check prior to the offering of employment.
