Year for year credit granted for ALL verified California public school teaching experience STIPEND $3,249 stipend for Masters & additional $3,249 stipend for Doctorate Job Summary Job Summary Under the supervision and direction of the site principal or his/her administrative designee, the Intervention Teacher will develop lesson plans and provide direct instruction to students who have been identified through multiple measures as significantly underperforming academically and in need of additional targeted support. The instructional delivery will vary, based on need, and may include whole group, small group, pull-out or push-in. The Intervention Teacher is accountable for promoting standards-based literacy and numeracy across the content areas using a multi-tiered approach and evidence-based interventions. In addition, the Intervention Teacher will provide data for SST and 504 meetings and communicate with parents, teachers, and other staff regarding progress or further interventions needed. Qualifications Education:

• Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) • Valid CA Multiple Subject teaching credential with embedded EL authorization or

CLAD Experience:

• A minimum of five (5) years of successful classroom teaching experience in an elementary setting Copy of Transcript (unofficial transcripts are acceptable for purposes of the application; official copies will be required if hired.) Credential Copy (please post detailed credential stating expiration date rather than the certificate. ) English Learner Authorization (if your EL authorization is embedded in your credential, you do not need to attach a separate document; however, if you hold a CLAD certificate, please attach here.)
