Position Overview Oak Crest Academy is seeking an experienced and credentialed PreK-Elementary Teacher to join our dynamic and collaborative teaching community. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of early childhood and elementary education, differentiation for advanced learners, and the ability to create an engaging, nurturing classroom environment. Responsibilities Plan, develop, and deliver engaging lessons in core subjects (language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies) aligned with OCA's gifted and talented education philosophy. Provide individualized instruction and differentiated learning opportunities for diverse learning styles and abilities. Integrate project-based and inquiry-based learning into classroom activities. Maintain an organized, safe, and stimulating classroom environment. Assess and document student progress through ongoing observation, formal assessment, and communication with families. Collaborate with faculty, administrators, and support staff to enhance the academic and social-emotional growth of students. Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development sessions. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Master's preferred). Valid California Teaching Credential (Preferred). Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at the PreK-Elementary level. Experience working with gifted or advanced learners strongly preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Passion for creating a supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
