Full-Time, Monday-Friday Join Our Elementary Team! Riverside Montessori Academy is seeking an experienced and passionate Elementary Teacher to lead a small, combined-age classroom serving students in grades 2-4. This position is ideal for an educator who thrives in a close-knit learning environment, understands how to differentiate instruction across multiple grade levels, and is committed to helping students develop academically, socially, and emotionally. Montessori experience is not required. We welcome applicants from traditional educational settings who have strong experience with Common Core curriculum and multi-age or combined-grade classrooms. Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of students across grades 2-4. Manage a combined-age classroom while maintaining high academic expectations. Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to families. Foster a positive classroom culture that supports both academic and social-emotional growth. Collaborate with administration and fellow teachers to support student success. Maintain accurate records, lesson plans, and student assessments. Participate in school events, conferences, and professional development opportunities. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree and/or Teaching Credential preferred. Minimum of 1 year of elementary teaching experience. Knowledge of Common Core State Standards. Experience teaching multiple grade levels or in a combined-age classroom strongly preferred. Excellent classroom management and organizational skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Montessori experience is welcome but not required .
