In this vital role, you will create a vibrant, engaging classroom environment that promotes early childhood education while supporting the spiritual, academic, and social development of each child. Our ideal candidate is enthusiastic about fostering a love of learning and is committed to modeling Christian values, integrating faith into daily instruction, and partnering with families to help students grow in character, confidence, and knowledge. Duties Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with state standards while thoughtfully incorporating biblical principles and a Christian worldview Foster a positive, nurturing classroom atmosphere using effective classroom management strategies that encourage respect, kindness, and cooperation Support individual learning needs, including students with developmental differences, using appropriate instructional strategies Integrate prayer, Bible-based lessons, and faith-centered discussions into daily classroom routines Conduct assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress and guide instruction Maintain open, respectful communication with parents regarding student academic growth, development, and spiritual formation Qualifications Minimum 12 ECE units Classroom experience in early childhood or kindergarten settings with a strong understanding of child development Demonstrated ability in lesson planning, curriculum development, and classroom management A personal commitment to the Christian faith and the ability to model and teach biblical values in the classroom Knowledge of or willingness to incorporate faith-based instruction alongside academic content Experience supporting diverse learners, including those with special needs, is a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills when working with students, parents, and staff Closing Join us as a Kindergarten Teacher at Living Water Christian Academy and help shape young hearts and minds through Christ-centered education.
