GENERAL SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the Executive Director, or designee, Teachers are responsible to ensure students meet their academic, personal/social and career/college growth goals. Collaborates with school colleagues, students, parents and community agencies to provide quality, culturally competent instructional design and pedagogy linked to learning inside and outside of the classroom.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Education or related subject required; Master's degree preferred; Qualified candidate must possess a valid California or out-of-state Multiple Subject teaching or Single Subject credential; Qualified candidate must possess a BCLAD or equivalent bilingual authorization certificate: Spanish; Previous teaching experience in a Dual Immersion program is preferred; Thorough understanding of pedagogy and the best practices of education; Must be able to read, write, listen and speak fluently in both English & Spanish required; Familiarity with

COMMON CORE

standards preferred; TB test clearance and criminal justice fingerprint clearance are required; Bilingual/Biliterate or Conversational Spanish, preferred.
